Drew Brees Announces Retirement
Drew Brees has announced his retirement after a 20 year NFL career. The New Orleans Saints quarterback took to social media yesterday to make the announcement. He was drafted out of Purdue University in the second round of the 2001 draft by the Chargers and played 5 seasons there then moved on to the Saints were he’s played for 15 seasons. He holds the record for all time leader in passing yards with 80,358 and completions with 7,142. He’s also second in the books with 571 passing touchdowns. In 2010, he led the Saints to a Superbowl win and was named MVP! His kid’s helped him make the announcement saying he would be spending more time with them.
