Michael Andretti Adds Two Records To His Racing Resume

This proves playing with food isn’t only for the kids. Michael Andretti put two Guinness World Records on his racing resume. The ’91 Indycar Champion drove a vehicle made of cake at 17 miles per hour for almost 350 feet setting both the top speed and distance records for edible cars. The cruiser was made out of 139 vanilla sheet cakes and over 90 percent of it was edible! Event organizers donated over 500 pounds of the dessert to a local organization that helps serve the hungry and homeless. They built two, one for him and his legendary dad Mario which is the icing on the cake!
