Amber Alert Canceled After 2 Young NC Children Found Safe

Good news as an amber alert for two young North Carolina children has been canceled. 4-year-old Easton and 2-year-old Annsleigh Redmon were believed to have been abducted by their mother. They were last seen on Dobson Farm Road in Statesville sometime yesterday. Fortunately, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the siblings were found safe just before 1 a.m. this morning in Georgia, which is where they were suspected to be going. The circumstances surrounding the recovery effort were not made clear.
