South Carolina Moves into Phase 1B of Vaccine Distribution Plan Today

It’s a major week for South Carolina in the fight against Covid-19 as the state moves into Phase 1B of it’s vaccination distribution plan. Starting today, more than half of all residents can begin scheduling appointments to get inoculated. Those age 55 and older, as well as those between the ages of 16 and 64 who are at increased severe risk for Covid-19 due to various diseases, disorders and other health issues are now eligible. Further included on the list are essential workers such as teachers, grocery store employees, law enforcement officers, those working in federal assistance facilities and much more. All those from Phase 1A who were not vaccinated are still able to do so now.
