New Revelations Come Out Regarding NY Covid-19 Nursing Home Deaths

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is once again facing scrutiny today as new revelations come out about the nursing home death controversy. The governor received swift backlash after the state attorney general first broke the news a few months ago. It’s believed Cuomo and his administration underreported coronavirus-related deaths that occurred in nursing homes over the last year by as much as 50%. So far, Cuomo’s top aides have claimed they did so to avoid being investigated by the Trump Administration who they believe would have used the information against them. But now a new bombshell report claims that top advisers to Governor Cuomo purposefully altered a public report released back in July regarding their nursing home death count. It’s believed they did this by pressuring state health officials to remove data from the initial report concerning elderly people who lived in those facilities but were transferred to hospitals after falling ill and then died there.
