Third Woman Accuses NY Gov. Cuomo of Sexual Harassment
A third woman has just come out against New York Governor Andrew Cuomo amid allegations of workplace sexual harassment. Within the last week, former Cuomo aides Charlotte Bennett and Lindsey Boylan have come out accusing the governor of inappropriate sexual comments and even unwanted touching and kissing. Joining them is 33-year-old Anna Ruch. She claims Cuomo asked to kiss her at a wedding back in 2019 and put his hands on her face and bare lower back. Ruch further reported that she pulled away speechless, feeling confused, shocked and embarrassed.
Cuomo has offered an apology to those who may have “misinterpreted” things he said “as an unwanted flirtation,” but he firmly denies any inappropriate touching or kissing. Despite this, other New York Democratic politicians have begun calling for his resignation. There are also demands being made for the New York Attorney General Letitia James to conduct a formal investigation. It’s reported that the governor’s office recently sent her a letter permitting her to do so.
