Amber, Silver Alerts Cancelled After Father/Daughter Found Safe

The amber and silver alerts for a 4-year-old North Carolina girl and her father have been called off. Aubrey McFarland of Brunswick County was allegedly abducted by her father yesterday morning. It was believed that 37-year-old Elijah McFarland was “suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment” and had intentions to drive all the way to California with his daughter. They have both since been safely located in Tennessee thanks to Nashville Metro PD, an off-duty officer, and a concerned civilian.
