Barefoot Bistro Helps Celebrate National Chocolate Mint Day

Chocolate Mint Candy
2 cups semisweet chocolate
1 can (14 oz) Sweet & Condensed Milk
2 tsp Vanilla
6 oz white candy coating chopped
2-3 drops Peppermint
3 drops Green Food Coloring
Melt 2 cups Semi-sweet Chocolate with 1 cup Milk. Remove from heat and stir in 2 tsp Vanilla. Spread 1/2 in a wax paper lined 8″ square pan. Chill 10 minutes.
In a separate saucepan over low heat put remaining milk and white Chocolate. Stir in Peppermint and Food Coloring. Spread green concoction over chocolate layer. Cover with the rest of the Chocolate. Chill 2 hours.
