Truck Theft and Death of Georgetown County Man Under Investigation

The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death and stolen vehicle of an Andrews man. Deputies were called to a residence on Gapway Road where they found deceased 69 year old William Butler Jr. Officials say a truck was also reported stolen from the residence and is believed to be connected to the homicide. They are looking for the vehicle, a red 2003 Chevrolet S10 Z71 with the license plate number v31609. Anyone who sees it is encouraged to call 911 immediately.
