Search Continues for Missing Man Near Azalea Lakes

Horry County Police are still searching for a 26 year old man from the Azalea Lakes neighborhood who was last seen on Monday.
The search remains ongoing for Corey Morrison and has expanded to Socastee as well as a nearby pond. As of yesterday Morrison was last seen around 1:00 a.m. on Monday morning near Murphy’s Law in Surfside Beach. SC Highway Patrol responded to a crash around 3:00 a.m. Monday near Azalea Lakes and the vehicle involved was registered to Morrison. Troopers can’t confirm who was driving the car because they were not found. A family member from Hendersonville, North Carolina has joined the search along with SCDNR. SLED has also joined by helicopter and the Center for Missing Persons might be joining to assist with the ground search soon. Morrison is five nine and 120 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
