Man Arrested After Deadly Shooting at Minnesota Health Clinic

At least one person was killed and three others critically injured after a gunman opened fire in a Minnesota health clinic. The incident broke out around 11 a.m. yesterday at the Allina Health Urgent Care–Buffalo Crossroads clinic in Buffalo. Wright County Sheriff’s deputies and SWAT teams responded to a report of an active shooter situation. When they arrived, they found multiple victims. Five people were transported to local hospitals, four of which were critical. One person later died while receiving care. Police further discovered a suspicious package that contained “improvised explosive devices.” More suspicious packages were found at a motel the suspect was staying at. Both areas were evacuated and have since been cleared. 67-year-old Gregory Ulrich was taken into custody. He has an extensive criminal history that includes drug and alcohol offenses, as well as harassment. Authorities believe Ulrich was unhappy with his health care and targeted the clinic on his own. His first court appearance is expected tomorrow.
