Berkeley County Police Arrest Over a Dozen as Part of Drug Operation

Over a dozen people were charged in connection to a massive Berkeley County drug bust. On Tuesday, a six-month undercover narcotics investigation was finally executed in the Macedonia-Bonneau area. What initially began as complaints about suspicious activity near DeWitt Road, led to the arrests of 14 people. Large amounts of meth, fentanyl, and heroin were seized. Multiple illegal hand guns sold to convicts and stolen property valued more than $4,000 was also located. Officials are still seeking three people for various charges related to the investigation.

The following were arrested and charged:

  • Charles “Billy” Litchfield: Distribution of Methamphetamine (x14), Trafficking Methamphetamine (x4), Property Crime Greater than $2,000 (Enhanced) (x2), Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Violent Crime (x3), Sale of a gun to a Convicted Felon (x5) and Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine
  • Justin Litchfield: Distribution of Fentanyl (x5), Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Heroin
  • Cecil “Bubba” Floyd: Distribution of Fentanyl (x2), Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl and Possession of Stolen Goods more than $2,000
  • Bobby “Pockets” Brinson: Criminal Sexual Conduct 3rd Degree
  • Destry Sweatman: Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine and Trafficking in Fentanyl
  • Joshua Jacobs: Trafficking in Fentanyl
  • Amanda Fletcher: Trafficking in Fentanyl
  • Sandi Thompson: Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine and Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine
  • Missy Lee Litchfield: Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine
  • Christine Potter: Possession of Marijuana
  • Krista Leigh Dunn: Unlawful Conduct Toward a Child and Distribution of Heroin
  • Jamie Potter: Distribution of Methamphetamine, Possession of Stolen Goods Greater than $2,000 and Possession of Marijuana
  • Brandon Litchfield: Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine and Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
  • Thomas Kelly: Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine and Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance

As of now, authorities are still looking for these three individuals:

  • Catherine Powers Owens: Distribution of Methamphetamine
  • John Tracey Headden: Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine
  • Kenneth Blake Poole: Unlawful Conduct Toward a Child and Distribution of Heroin
