Covid Vaccine Doses to be Shipped to Limited CVS Locations Nationwide

The Biden Administration has announced they’ll begin directly shipping coronavirus vaccines to retail pharmacies nationwide. This news comes as the administration fights to expand American’s access to the vaccines as global variants of the virus continue to spread. Starting February 11th, about 6,500 stores will receive a total of 1 million doses. They will then slowly increase the number of stores and vaccines as time goes on. Millions of Americans already turn to their local pharmacies every day for their medicines, flu shots, and much more. Locally, around 17 CVS Pharmacies in South Carolina will shortly receive these shipments and begin administration to those who are eligible. Walk-ins will not be accepted, so patients must register in advance online or through the CVS Pharmacy app. People without online access can contact their customer service centers AT at (800) 746-7287. Participating pharmacies will be in Myrtle Beach, Aiken, Anderson, Clemson, Columbia, Greenville, Summerville, and Sumter.
