Two Arrested in Relation to Robeson County Drug Investigation
Two people were busted in relation to a drug investigation out of Robeson County. Investigators attempted to pull over a vehicle on Saturday that they believed was related to a series of recent overdoses in the area. The driver refused, which led to an “erratic” pursuit that included a car collision as the driver was attempting to throw narcotics out of the window. Afterwards, the driver was identified as a 17-year-old. He was taken into custody after he was also found with copious amounts of drugs. This incident led to a further search of a residence where even more drugs, cash, firearms and more were found and a second arrest was performed. Now the teenager and 26-year-old Darrell Locklear face numerous substance charges. Deputies said the investigation is ongoing.
