Suspect Evades Marlboro Police After Wrecking Car in Field

A driver evaded police after wrecking their car in Marlboro County last night. The chase began on Main Street in Clio after an officer tried to pull the driver over for speeding. The driver then crashed in a field on Carolina Church Road and ran off on foot. Authorities believe they know who the suspect is and were pursuing warrants as of this morning for speeding and failure to stop for blue lights.
