Man Breaks into Myrtle Beach Tattoo Shop, Throws Steak Knife at Employee

A man was apprehended after breaking into a tattoo shop and throwing a steak knife at an employee. Myrtle Beach Police received a disturbance call at Top Notch Tattoo on Seaboard Street around noon on Monday. 39-year-old Kevin Kirlew had kicked in the back door and reportedly screamed at an employee, accusing them of being the devil while armed with the knife. When another employee pulled a gun, Kirlew threw the knife and ran away. He was arrested shortly after and faces charges for destruction of real property and assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.
