Woman Arrested for Falsely Reporting Hostage Situation in Conway

A woman was charged for falsely reporting a hostage situation in a Conway home over the weekend. 28-year-old Angelic Goodale called police on Saturday claiming she had escaped, but that a friend was still being held against her will by an armed suspect at the residence on James Avenue. When law enforcement arrived, they found no one inside. Goodale was later located in a parking lot on Fourth Avenue. After taking contradictory statements from her, who could neither provide the friend’s full name or number, she was arrested and is now being held on a $3,000 bond.
