Gov. McMaster Experiencing Mild Symptoms After Covid-19 Diagnosis

Governor McMaster has tested positive for Covid-19. It’s believed he was exposed to the virus after his wife, First Lady Peggy McMaster, tested positive last week. While she’s been asymptomatic, the governor has reported feeling mild symptoms of a cough and slight fatigue. At this time, he’s receiving the Monoclonal Antibody treatment. The governor has also entered into a ten day quarantine and will continue to be monitored by health professionals. McMaster’s words of advice to South Carolina residents upon breaking the news was to be “extra careful during the Christmas holiday season.”
