Remains Found in 2018 Identified as Missing Man From Murrells Inlet
Remains discovered 2 years ago have been identified as that of a missing man. The Georgetown County Coroner’s Office confirmed the results yesterday. On November 14th, 2018 human remains, including a skull, were found along a Murrells Inlet bike path. Months earlier, on June 5th, 52-year-old David Woolslayer of Murrells Inlet was reported missing. His cellphone, wallet and keys were left behind in his home. At this time, a cause of death has not been revealed. Those close to Woodslayer say he had a medical history of fainting and depression but he never threatened suicide.
