Rudy Giuliani Among Those Now Hospitalized During Unprecedented Covid-19 Spike
As the average in new daily Covid-19 cases nears 200,000 a day, new restrictions are going into effect in the U.S. from coast to coast. Also reported for the 5th consecutive day was over 100,000 hospitalizations. Starting at midnight, at least 33 million people are now under stay-at-home orders in California, or about 85% of the state’s populous. Businesses such as bars, hair salons, museums, movie theaters and indoor recreational facilities have been ordered closed. Harsh limits have been imposed on retail businesses and restaurants with travel being prohibited except for essential activities. The Navajo Nation has also implemented another three-week lockdown nationwide. Breaking this morning was news of Rudy Giuliani’s hospitalization following his Covid-19 diagnosis. President Trump confirmed his personal attorney’s condition on Twitter yesterday. The 76-year-old is considered at high risk but said he only has mild symptoms and is “feeling good”. Contact tracing has begun since Giuliani has recently traveled across several states, attending senate hearings, news conferences, and more where the majority of the time he was not wearing a mask.
