Endangered Teen From Murrells Inlet Found Safe by HCPD

UPDATE: 14-year-old Samuel Frederick has since been found safe. A tweet from the Horry County Police Department late this morning confirmed the news. There was no additional information on where Frederick was found.

Horry County Police are searching for an endangered teenager who went missing last night. 14-year-old Samuel Frederick was last seen at his home on Flat Rock Court near Murrells Inlet around 11:40 p.m. He’s 5-foot-5, weighing around 100 pounds with blue eyes and blonde hair. Frederick may have left on his bike wearing a green t-shirt and tan shorts, or a backpack, with jeans and grey sweatshirt. Police say he’s endangered because he has special needs.
