Trump Continues Legal Pursuit, Biden Team Finally Begins Transition

Though President Trump still refuses to concede the election, Biden’s team continues to move forward with the transition. The president’s efforts to gain ground in Wisconsin has proven to be futile this weekend after his three million dollar effort resulted in a 132-vote gain for projected President-elect Joe Biden. The number of votes found were well within the margin of error that’s normal for an election and left Biden’s lead of about 20,600 votes virtually unchanged. Wisconsin is set to certify their results by tomorrow and until then, President Trump is expected to press legal challenges. And nearly 4 weeks after the election, Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris are set to receive their first president’s daily brief today. This comes about a week after the Trump Administration signed off on their approval despite their baseless claims of voter fraud. Following the briefing, the President-elect plans to meet with advisers. The Electoral College is expected to hold their official vote in a couple of weeks.
