Man Out on Bond for Murder Injures Cousin During Shooting in Robeson County
A man accused in a fatal shooting has once again been arrested for a similar offense. 28-year-old David Morgan was charged with first-degree murder after 18-year-old Corey Bratcher was fatally shot in 2014. He was out on bond until late last night, when Robeson County deputies were called to the scene of another shooting where Morgan shot his cousin after a fight broke out. The victim was hospitalized and is expected to pull through. Morgan was arrested again and now also faces charges of attempted first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. He’s being held under a $1 million secured bond.
