South Carolina Reports Over 1,000 New Covid-19 Cases for 6th Consecutive Day

Over 1,000 new Covid-19 cases were reported in South Carolina for the sixth straight day in a row yesterday. The statewide total for infections now comes to about 194,000 with almost 4,000 deaths, according to DHEC. A new analysis conducted by Harvard researchers also states the rate of cases in Horry County, especially Myrtle Beach, are so high that a stay-at-home order should be enacted. While Horry County is the area most at risk right now, they also recommend stay-at-home orders be observed throughout the entire state.
