Armed Robbery Suspect Who Escaped Police Custody Captured Again

The armed robbery suspect who evaded police custody by stealing a patrol car has been apprehended for the second time this week. 38-year-old Samuel Robinson was initially arrested in relation to an incident that occurred at a Walmart over the weekend. He then managed to slip out of his handcuffs and into the front seat of a Georgetown County Deputy’s vehicle which he then drove off in. The deputy’s car was later recovered with everything still inside. Robinson’s arrest soon followed. He now faces charges of larceny, failure to stop, driving under suspension, resisting arrest and possession of a weapon by a felon, along with his initial count of armed robbery by Georgetown Police.
