Man Sentenced to Life for Fatal 2018 Myrtle Beach Shooting
The man convicted for a fatal 2018 shooting in Myrtle Beach has been sentenced to life in prison. 44-year-old Javaline Dawkins was convicted on charges of murder, kidnapping, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime that happened on June 27th in 2018. Dawkins kidnapped 27-year-old Ryan Bryant who was able to escape from the vehicle at 29th Avenue North and U.S. 17 Bypass. But before he drove away, Dawkins shot Bryant several times and killed him. The men reportedly knew each other and had met for an illegal drug trade.
