U.S. Reports Record-Breaking Over 120,000 New Covid-19 Cases Yesterday

The U.S. reported for the second day in a row over 100,000 new cases of Covid-19. On Wednesday the U.S. saw over 104,000 cases alone. This broke the country’s previous record for most cases reported in a single-day not only nationwide, but worldwide. That record was then again completely smashed yesterday as almost 122,000 cases were recorded. The U.S. continues to hold the highest number of coronavirus cases and deaths in the world. It also holds the first, second and third place for most cases ever reported in a single day. More than 236,000 people have now been killed by the virus and there are currently more than 9.61 million infections in the U.S. Hospitalizations also continue to surge across the country, particularly in the mid and southwest. In Missouri, an election supervisor who was knowingly positive and went to work at a polling site on Election Day, has since died.
