Presidential Candidates Conclude Campaigns as Election Day Begins
The polls are now open, election day is finally here, and we’ve got everything you need to know. President Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden finally concluded their campaigns yesterday after a week of an all-out blitz. The president hosted rallies across four states including Wisconsin, Michigan, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. Meanwhile, Biden spent his entire day in pivotal Pennsylvania. He will also spend his day there today, in his home town of Scranton. It’s one of the most important battleground states to look out for this year and it’s believed to predict the winner of the election. Arizona, Florida, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio and North Carolina are among other states to look out for. Tonight the president is expected to host an election party inside the White House with around 400 guests. Biden and running mate Kamala Harris will watch the results from Wilmington, Delaware. During the 2016 election, President Trump had declared victory by 3 a.m. This time it’s unclear if either candidate will do so before all the votes are counted, which could take days.
