Tips on How to Stay Safe While Voting During the Pandemic

Staying on the topic of the election, state health officials are offering tips to help keep you safe while voting during the pandemic. The South Carolina Election Commission, along with Tidelands Health, is recommending as always to properly wear a face mask at all times in public and social distance. They also suggest bringing your own pen so you don’t have to use a shared one. Have hand sanitizer with at least 60 percent alcohol at the ready and use it before and after casting your ballot. And finally, come prepared with your ID and correct polling information to minimize your time around others and speed up the process for everyone.
