Bernie Sanders Pushing for Cabinet Position

Bernie Sanders is vying for a cabinet position should Joe Biden win the presidency. You may recall sanders dropped out of the democratic primary in April and endorsed Biden shortly afterwards. He was Biden’s most serious challenger at the time. It’s reported Sanders has interest in the labor secretary position.
Sources with Sanders confirmed his interest in a role but, other potential cabinet names have been tossed around such as former Ohio republican Governor John Kasich, and former republican Senator Jeff Flake. Both conservatives have endorsed the former vice president. Biden’s transition team has said he won’t be making any decisions before the election.
