Juvenile Charged in Lumberton Shooting Involving Two Other Teens
A 14-year-old was charged in relation to the shooting of two other teens in Lumberton over the weekend. Officers were dispatched to an area near a grocery store along Fayetteville Road Saturday evening where they found a 14 and 15-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds. Investigators believe a group of teenagers had met in the parking lot where a fight broke out which led to the shooting. The unnamed juvenile was arrested for first-degree attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. It’s believed the 15-year-old is still in critical condition.
