Jeffrey Toobin Suspended After Exposing Himself During Work Zoom Call

Jeffrey Toobin has been suspended from the New Yorker and CNN pending an investigation after allegedly exposing himself during a Zoom call. In an official statement, the 60-year-old writer and CNN legal analyst claimed it was an “embarrassingly stupid mistake”. He thought he had turned off his camera and muted his microphone during the incident and could not be seen by the other staffers on the video teleconference. He has since apologized to his family and colleagues but has gone silent on his social media and declined to give further comments. A CNN spokesperson did offer a statement saying Toobin “asked for some time off while he deals with a personal issue.” Toobin has worked with CNN since 2002, and the New Yorker since 1993. He’s also written several books including “The People V. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story,” which was adapted into a TV series. His latest book was an investigation into President Trump’s criminal record.
