Horry County Schools to Continue with Hybrid Learning Model For Now
The Horry County Schools board has voted in favor of hybrid learning until further notice. This announcement comes despite the fact the county has moved back into a ‘high’ spread level for Covid-19. Following their decision, the Horry County Board of Education also updated their ‘brick-and-mortar’ learning program yesterday evening. The purpose of the program is to keep children and staff safe during these times. They’re now going to look at schools on an individual basis, rather than district-wide, when determining which learning models to use moving forward.
