Locals Stress Importance of Election as Early Voting Opens in Both North, South Carolina

And in some lighter news, election day is again just two weeks away and early voting is now open in both North and South Carolina. In North Carolina alone, more than 1 million residents have already cast their ballots. And despite these record breaking numbers, local communities are still promoting the importance of voting. This includes dozens of members from two different baptist churches in the Fairmont area hosting a ‘Soul to the Polls’ parade. One of the pastors said it was important work for them because his role in his community extends beyond being a spiritual leader.
