Sen. Graham Criticized for Controversial Statement Regarding Segregation
Senator Lindsey Graham is once again being criticized for making a controversial comment while conducting the Supreme Court confirmation hearings of Amy Coney Barrett. While questioning her, Graham referred to segregation as “the good old days.” Graham’s senate seat opponent Jaime Harrison immediately took to social media, posting a clip of the moment and bashing him for acting like it was “1920”. The senator’s campaign was quick to respond, claiming Graham made the comment sarcastically. Graham also personally accused Harrison of trying to “manufacture” fake outrage.
