Terror Plot to Kidnap, Possibly Kill Michigan Governor Thwarted by FBI

Yesterday afternoon, the FBI announced they foiled an armed militia kidnapping plot involving Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Those implicated in the domestic terror plot had plans to gather hundreds of men to storm the capitol building, take hostages or set off explosions as a diversion while simultaneously abducting the governor from a second location. They also considered killing her. They were reportedly extremely unhappy with Whitmer’s strict Covid-19 regulations, believing she was a tyrant violating their constitutional rights. They met several times and practiced shooting, building bombs, and even scouted the governors home at least twice. Fortunately, the FBI had been closely monitoring the group for months. They could have intervened at any time, but only decided to do so now because they were going to meet this week to pool their money and buy tactical gear. The identities of those involved have been released to the public and are as follows: The six charged by the federal government include Adam Fox, 37, Ty Garbin, 24, Kaleb Franks, 26, Daniel Harris, 23, Brandon Caserta, 32, and Delaware resident Barry Croft, 44. The remaining seven charged by the state are Paul Bellar, 21, Shawn Fix, 38, Eric Molitor, 36, Michael Null, 38, William Null, 38, Pete Musico, 42, Joseph Morrison, 42. All were Michigan residents.
