Public Funeral Service for Fallen MBPD Officer Hancher This Afternoon

The public funeral for fallen Myrtle Beach Police Officer Jacob Hancher is today. He was killed almost a week ago while responding to a domestic call. Hancher was 23, making him the youngest MBPD officer to ever die in the line of duty. His services will begin this afternoon at 2 at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. There will be numerous live streams of the event which you can find online if you’re unable to attend in person. Hancher will then be buried Tuesday in Maryland.
