Man Wanted for Attempted Kidnapping of Young Girl in Lamar

Lamar Police are also seeking a suspect in an attempted kidnapping of a little girl. Yesterday afternoon along Duke and Pine Streets, a young girl was walking by herself towards a bus stop when a man pulled up beside her. He asked if she wanted candy, then got out of his van and tried to physically restrain the girl. Luckily, she was able to break away from him his grip and run. The suspect is described as a bald, white male with no facial hair. He was seen driving a white panel van with no windows. If you see either the van or any related suspicious activity, you are asked to call the police.
