Candlelight Rosary Vigil to be Held Tomorrow Honoring Officer Jacob Hancher

Yesterday afternoon, Officer Jacob Hancher’s body was transported back from Charleston to Myrtle Beach following his autopsy. If you missed your chance to honor him by standing along Highway 17 Bypass as the procession returned, don’t worry because the community is finding many different ways to remember the fallen hero. Not the least of which includes a Candlelight Rosary Vigil hosted by PFC Hancher’s family. The event will take place tomorrow at the Catholic Church of St. James in Conway where Hancher regularly attended. It will begin at 7:30 p.m. Those who attend are asked to bring their own rosary, candle and chair.
