Biden Ahead of Trump in Polls as VP Candidates Prepare for This Week’s Debate
We are now less than a month away from the 2020 election and Joe Biden appears to be pulling ahead of President Trump by double digits in the latest national poll. It appears his numbers have begun to increase ever since Tuesday’s disastrous debate. But we can’t forget at this point during the 2016 election, Hillary Clinton was also pulling ahead in the polls. Following the president’s hospitalization, the former vice president decided to pull all attack ads from circulation. This was a courtesy that was not extended to Biden in return as the president’s campaign refuses to pump the breaks. Next on the agenda for the election is the vice presidential debate. That is still scheduled for this Wednesday in person as both Vice President Mike Pence and Senator Kamala Harris continue to test negative for Covid-19. Some new changes will be implemented during the debate, including separating the two by 12 feet instead of seven.
