Two People Suffer Injuries Following Small Plane Crash in Horry County

A small plane crash in Nichols left two people injured last night. Horry County Fire Rescue confirmed the location of the crash occurred in a heavily wooded area near Highway 9 and Norton Road around 8 p.m. Only two people were aboard the single-engine plane at the time. They have since been hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. HDFR, Loris Fire Department and the Horry County Police Department all responded to the scene.
