Governor McMaster, Congressman Tom Rice Aim to Help State’s Restaurant Industry

Finally, we have some good news for the those in the restaurant industry. Governor McMaster announced intentions to remove capacity limits and other restrictions within restaurants in the near future. He added they will not remove the mask mandates and will still continue to promote eating outdoors as much as possible. Congressman Tom Rice is also working to assist restaurants by introducing a new bill aimed at  incentivizing eating out. The measure would cut the cost of most meals by 50% and have the government cover the cost of the rest. There are restrictions, however. The discount would only cover meals $12 or less, will only apply Monday through Wednesday, and it would only last for a month.
