Sen. Lindsey Graham, Jaime Harrison Tied in New Poll Days Before Debate
A new poll reveals Senator Lindsey Graham and hopeful Jaime Harrison tied in the race for the South Carolina Senate seat. Both candidates are pulling 48%, according to Quinnipiac University, with 95% of those voters stating their mind is made up. This news comes as Graham and Harrison prepare for their first debate this Saturday at Allen University in Columbia from 7 to 8 p.m. The two have raked in millions of dollars in donations, making this the most expensive election in South Carolina history. They’ve used it to mainly engage in very active attack campaign strategies for weeks, airing new commercials and ads almost daily.
