President Trump Wins Coin Toss Prior to Tonight’s First Presidential Debate

The highly anticipated first debate between President Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden is now just hours away. It was determined in a coin toss that the president will answer the first question in a series of six fifteen-minute segments which will air commercial free. As per Covid-19 guidelines, the participants will not shake hands, or even elbow bump, as is tradition. The audience will also only be comprised of between 75-80 people who will all receive rapid Covid-19 tests prior to entry. However, unlike recommended guidelines, Trump, Biden, and moderator Chris Wallace will all forgo face masks. President Trump’s performance will prove to be especially crucial this evening for undecided voters seeing as he’s had an extremely controversial week between his Supreme Court nomination and the recent explosive story that broke on his taxes. Tonight’s event is scheduled for 9 p.m. and is expected to run for 90 minutes. This is the first of three total debates. The other two are scheduled for October. The first vice presidential debate is also set for October.
