Ohio Officer Suffers Multiple Injures While Chasing Convicted Felon During Escape
An Ohio police officer is recovering from multiple injuries following a convicted felon’s escape. 33-year-old Nicholas Garrison had just been found guilty of aggravated possession of meth and facing almost two years in prison and fines up to $2,500. Moments later, the bailiff was was in the process of handcuffing him when he decided to make a break for it. The entire harrowing incident was caught on camera as he burst through a door and sprinted down a set of stairs, with several officers close on his trail. One deputy went so far as to dive head first over a railing, crashing into a wall and sliding down the stair case. The deputy broke four ribs and sustained a concussion as a result of his attempt but in the end, Garrison was able to successfully evade the police. Garrison is 6 feet tall, weighing around 180 pounds. He has dyed blue hair, hazel eyes, and tattoos. He was last seen wearing black jeans, a blue shirt and Nike tennis shoes. Residents of Ohio and neighboring states are asked to remain vigilant.
