CCU Gears Up for Home Opener at Brooks Stadium

CCU has issued guidelines ahead of tonight’s home opener against Campbell. The athletic department said tailgating will be strongly discouraged ahead of home games this season including the ban of grills, tents and generators in the parking lots surrounding the stadium. Fans are also required to wear face masks in the parking lot and inside the stadium. Attendees who violate this rule or any other will be asked to leave. Masks will not be required if eating or drinking at the venue. Hand sanitizer stations were installed throughout the stadium and one-way traffic patterns for foot traffic will be enforced. The game will be televised on ESPN and kicks off at 7:30 p.m.
