Does Being Outdoors Reduce Stress and Anxiety?
A research study asked people what they were doing to stay positive during social distancing. 6 in 10 said they had a new found appreciation of nature and 85% said they didn’t appreciate it as much as they should have before the pandemic. As we all know, being outdoors is also known to reduce stress and anxiety. 37% said fishing brings them back to their childhood. Other nostalgic activities include camping, going to the beach, the lake and riding bikes.
