Two Suspects Now in Custody After Coastal Grand Mall Shooting, Stabbing
Two suspects are now in custody following the shooting and stabbing at Coastal Grand Mall. 34-year-old Dionte White said during his bond hearing yesterday that he entered into a physical altercation with the victims earlier this week. When he saw them at the mall, he purchased a knife then returned to the food court where he waited to assault them. One stabbing victim has been released from the hospital, but the second is still in the ICU with life-threatening injuries. While White was running from the scene, a second person fired shots off at him in the parking lot. White was charged with two counts of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. His bond was denied. The second suspect now in custody will remain unidentified until formal charges are pressed.
