Suspect Arrested After Stabbing Bonneau Police Chief in Face With Ice Pick

A man is in custody after assaulting the Bonneau police chief yesterday morning. The suspect, who has been identified as Forrest Bowman, reportedly stabbed Police Chief Franco Fuda in the face with an ice pick. He then fled the scene and barricaded himself inside a mobile home. Bowman was quickly apprehended and is now in custody. It’s unclear at this time what charges he faces.
