Myrtle Beach Mayor Extends City’s Covid-19 Emergency Declaration
The Myrtle Beach Emergency Declaration due to Covid-19 has again been extended by Mayor Brenda Bethune. The order is now expected to expire October 1st, unless called off before then. There’s also a possibility it may be further extended. This will not shut down any businesses or create new travel restrictions, but instead acknowledge the current health crisis and that precautions still need to be heeded. This all comes following an extension of the city’s face mask order in most public places through September 30th.
